Lecture phase is over.
The past two weeks have been filled with incredible stories about missions, stories of wild adventures, heart breaking tragedies and a clear challenge to see the Great Commission completed. Our last and final week of lecture finished in the same way we started: with over 30+ healings within our student body alone.
Here are a few of the healings we got to witness: a student who has had tinnitus for 5+ years who has been experiencing constant ringing in his ear was totally healed. Another studen who was lactose intolerance, totally healed. A different student who was hyperglycemic, totally healed. My personal favorite was from a girl who had a dream early in our DTS that her celiac disease would be healed before outreach. Sure enough, come this final week of lecture, she has been totally healed. It's been a wild week, to say the least.
Looking Ahead: This coming week, over 50 teams are being sent out across the globe. It's hard to believe that in just five days our team of 13 will be leaving for Uganda. It'll be a long trip with 50+ hours of travel (we have a few gnarly layovers). Our team has been amazing, and Ellis is loved and cared for by all. Needless to say, we are stoked for the journey ahead.
As for future newsletters: we're not 100% sure how often we will be able to get updates out while in Uganda - so if you don't hear from us, don't worry. As my dad often says, "no news is good news."
